A reply to me from one of my daugther’s faculty from Pepperdine MSOD group:

“Roland, this is an extraordinary article, worth reading and rereading. The authors track from Lewin onward, through the positive as well as negative influence of T-groups, to fragmentation and attempts to integrate, ending back at addressing what they see as the core issue by calling for a return to “Lewinian [academic] rigour and relevance” to the field of OD. When I think back on OD Network annual conferences, my best experiences have always been with sessions that addressed this issue, and I think we suffered most during the cycles away from rigor, sometimes selling out to “relevance.” Thanks for sharing this.

Our current MSOD students are asked to develop their “Point of View” and this article could be a starting point for some.
